He was invited to give a lecture touching upon the subject of ‘Conscientious Goverment’ to an international attendees.
During his talk, he expounded on the importance of integrity and accountability in governance, as demanded by Islam.
He explained that Islamic tradition and value need to be framed in the context of modern society.
Furthermore, he reminded Muslims not to be hateful in the name of Islam.

“We talk about rahmatan lil alamin (blessings for mankind).
But in the name of Islam, we can be racist and bigots.
Contradicting the essence and the value promoted by our own religion (Islam) or religious values.”
